Als Frontend Developer (all genders) entwickelst Du unser Webshop-Frontend technisch weiter und sorgst dafür, dass Performance, Usability und Conversion Hand in Hand gehen. Du optimierst unser Theme, integrierst und adaptierst Apps, entwickelst individuelle Features und stellst sicher, dass unser Shop stabil, skalierbar und zukunftsfähig bleibt. Dabei setzt du konsequent auf etablierte Standards.
Du verantwortest den sauberen Go-Live von gemeinsam mit UX, E-Commerce, Creative und externen Partnern entwickelten Funktionalitäten, optimierst bestehende Komponenten und verbindest technisches Know-how mit einem klaren Verständnis für Business-Impact.
Dein Ziel: ein performanter, sauber entwickelter Shop, der nachhaltige Markenwerte digital erlebbar macht.

Mit diesen Aufgaben trägst Du zum Erfolg bei

Du arbeitest mit Shopify-Themes (Liquid), HTML, CSS und JavaScript und stellst eine saubere, wartbare Code-Struktur sicher.
Du setzt auf Shopify Standards und etablierte Best-Practices und sorgst für eine klare Struktur aus Templates und Sections. Damit stellst du eine gute Wartbarkeit des Shops sicher.
Du integrierst, konfigurierst & optimierst Shopify-Apps und entwickelst individuelle Lösungen, wenn Standard-Funktionalitäten nicht ausreichen.
Du verbesserst kontinuierlich Performance, Ladezeiten und technische SEO-Struktur des Shops.
Du arbeitest eng mit UX, E-Commerce und Creative zusammen, um Anforderungen technisch sinnvoll und conversionstark umzusetzen.
Du implementierst Frontend-Requirements im Webshop unter Berücksichtigung von UI, Performance und Quality Vorgaben.
Du prüfst externe Entwicklungen, führst Code-Reviews durch und stellst sicher, dass technische Standards eingehalten werden.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Webentwicklung, Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Frontend-Entwicklung im E-Commerce – mit klarem Fokus auf Shopify.
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Liquid, HTML, CSS und JavaScript.
Fundierte Erfahrung im Customizing von Shopify-Themes sowie in der Integration und Anpassung von Apps.
Starkes Verständnis für Performance-Optimierung, technische SEO und Conversion-relevante Shop-Logiken.
Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise und Freude an crossfunktionaler Zusammenarbeit.

What is the job about?

You work with Shopify themes (Liquid), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring clean and maintainable code structures.
You follow Shopify standards and established best practices, creating a clear structure of templates and sections to ensure long-term maintainability.
You integrate, configure, and optimize Shopify apps and develop custom solutions where standard functionalities are not sufficient.
You continuously improve performance, loading times, and the technical SEO structure of the shop.
You collaborate closely with UX, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to translate requirements into technically sound and conversion-focused solutions.
You implement frontend requirements in the webshop, considering UI, performance, and quality standards.
You review external developments, conduct code reviews, and ensure technical standards are consistently maintained.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

Completed training or a degree in web development, computer science, or a comparable field.
Several years of experience in frontend development within e-commerce, ideally with a strong focus on Shopify.
Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Solid experience in customizing Shopify themes as well as integrating and adapting apps.
Strong understanding of performance optimization, technical SEO, and conversion-relevant shop logic.
Structured, self-driven way of working and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration.
