Product Owner BI (all genders)

Köln
Full-time
Permanent employee
62,000 - 68,000 € per year

Want to make a difference?

As BI Product Owner / Analytics Product Owner (all genders), you own our BI tool (currently Looker) as the company’s central steering and decision-making instrument.
Your mission is to ensure that management and teams make decisions based on consistent, aligned, and business-relevant KPIs — across functions, countries, and end-to-end core processes.

You don’t see BI as reporting, but as an analytics product that creates transparency, makes processes measurable, and enables better decisions at scale.

Who we are...

Since 2007, ARMEDANGELS has been proving that fashion can be different: innovative and timeless, produced according to responsible standards for people and planet. No wage slavery, no toxic chemicals, no cheap throwaway goods.

What started as a simple idea – printing T-shirts and donating proceeds to social projects – has grown into a company that now ranks among Europe’s leading sustainable lifestyle labels. With a 160-strong team and four collections a year, we show that responsibility and great product design can go hand in hand.

What is the job about?

KPI & Semantic Layer Ownership

  • End-to-end ownership of the company-wide KPI framework

  • Definition, prioritization, documentation, and approval of steering-relevant KPIs

  • Ownership of the central semantic layer to ensure consistent KPI logic

  • Ensure clarity, traceability, and consistency of KPIs across all dashboards

Stakeholder Management & Alignment

  • Central interface between business teams, management, and Analytics / Data Engineering

  • Translate business requirements into measurable KPIs, BI concepts, and steering logic

  • Facilitate KPI discussions and alignment across teams and leadership

Looker as a Product: Vision, Structure & Delivery

  • Design, build, and continuously evolve:

    • Executive steering dashboards

    • Department dashboards (e.g. E-Commerce, Supply Chain, Product)

    • clearly defined self-service BI areas

  • Establish dashboard, reporting, naming, and UX standards

  • Hands-on contribution to dashboards, KPI logic, LookML and SQL definitions

  • Own and prioritize the BI backlog in line with company objectives

  • Ensure data quality, performance, and maintainability of the BI landscape

Process Enablement & End-to-End Steering

  • Contribute to building and maintaining a company-wide process map (end-to-end core processes)

  • Ensure core processes are clearly defined, documented, and linked to relevant KPIs

  • Translate processes into measurable KPI logic (e.g. lead times, quality, efficiency)

  • Build process-oriented dashboards in Looker (end-to-end view instead of silos)

  • Collaborate closely with Process Owners, including data-driven process reviews

We'd love to hear from you if you have
